Bosch is the quiet workhorse of the high-end kitchen: dishwashers that run near-silent, precise induction cooktops, and Benchmark ovens that hold their calibration. Because Bosch is a BSH product, its diagnostics are code-driven, and the E-code system is one of the clearest in the industry when the code is read correctly and confirmed at the part.

Models We Service

  • Benchmark, 800, and 500-series dishwashers, panel-ready and integrated
  • Benchmark and 800-series wall ovens, single and double
  • Induction, gas, and electric cooktops
  • Speed and steam ovens
  • Built-in and counter-depth refrigeration

Error and Fault Codes

Bosch dishwasher E-codes are model-specific and widely documented. The most common are below; ovens use their own fault indications for sensor and heating circuits.

CodeTypical MeaningWhat We Do
E15Water in the base tray, leak protection trippedDry the tray, find and fix the leak source
E24Drainage fault (clog or drain pump)Clear filter and hose, test the drain pump
E22Filter or flow blockageClean main and fine filters, verify circulation
E09Heating element circuit faultTest heater and thermistor, replace failed part
Oven sensor faultTemperature sensor open or shortedOhm-test the sensor, replace out of range

Common Problems We Fix

The E15 leak-protection shutdown is the single most common Bosch dishwasher call, and it is usually a small drip, a hose, a seal, or a fill-valve weep, that filled the base tray rather than a catastrophic leak. E24 drainage faults follow, and are almost always a clogged filter or a jammed drain pump. On the ovens, the temperature sensor and heating element are the usual failures, and an E09-family heating fault points at the element circuit. On induction cooktops, a dead zone means that zone's coil or inverter. Bosch parts availability is good, which keeps these repairs quick.

E15 does not mean the dishwasher is dead. The leak sensor has done its job. Once we find the small source that filled the tray and dry it out, the dishwasher runs normally again.

Bosch Repair FAQ

What Does E15 Mean on a Bosch Dishwasher?
E15 means the leak-protection system has detected water in the base tray and shut the dishwasher down to protect your floor. The fix is finding the small leak, often a hose, seal, or the tray sensor, drying the tray, and correcting the source so E15 clears.
My Bosch Dishwasher Shows E24. How Do You Fix It?
E24 is a drainage fault, usually a clogged filter or drain hose or a jammed drain pump. We clear the filter and sump, test the drain pump, and verify the hose and air-gap route so it drains and the code clears.
What Is E22 on a Bosch Dishwasher?
E22 points to a filter or flow blockage. We clean the main filter and sump, check the fine filter, and confirm water is circulating freely before returning the dishwasher to service.
Do You Repair Bosch Ovens and Cooktops?
Yes. We service Bosch Benchmark and 800-series wall ovens, induction and gas cooktops, and dishwashers, with OEM sensors, pumps, igniters, and control parts.
Do You Use Model-Specific Genuine OEM Parts?
Yes. We fit genuine OEM parts specified for your Bosch model, which keeps the controls and safety systems working correctly and the repair within warranty.
